Our verdict
Tilia is a calmer alternative to Casa d'Alagoa that still makes it easy to meet people, through the rooftop, a daily walking tour and yoga. Curtained beds and a coworking space make it a good choice for longer stays, up to its 14-night maximum. It serves no meals, but coffee and tea are free.
